SUMMER MOVIE SEASON
Summer Movie Season is upon us!
Summer movie season is drawing to it's half-way point as summer kingpin Pixar steps to the plate. Their movie, Wall-E, is their most ambitious yet, but will that translate into box office success? The movie draws from among other things Buster Keaton and 2001, but will audiences be clamouring for a so called 'artistic' film this summer movie season? We'll be there from now until count down as our blast off through the Summer Movie Season continues, it's been a slow month, but we have a feeling it'll be finishing strong.
This summer's important as the future of some of our favorite comedians, actors, directors, and superheros will be decided. Will Steve Carrell or Mike Myers lead us into the comedic future? Will we want to believe in the X-Files? Will Heath Ledger have critics crying Oscar?
First off this week two down and out Franchises, Edward Norton as our jolly green Incredible Hulk battle against constroversial filmmaker M. Night as he brings forth his first R rated movie? Which will win? Can it top Kung Fu mania? And how long can it hold on? It's part of the neverending summer movie blowout!

THE PASSING OF A TRUE LEGEND
We at Film Takeout this week take time to mourn the passing of a legend, Stan Winston. He created many of the created we grew to love in cinema. From the velociraptors to the Terminator himself, Stan Winston made it a reality for us to have a little magic sprinkled on us during our treks to the cinema. Check out our column on this man as the film community will never be the same. Thank you Stan, from the bottom of our hearts.
